The majority of US companies investing in social media marketing (SMM) platforms report significant results including increased customer retention, improvements in customer acquisition, better retention rates and increased conversion.

But the truth of the matter is that only 13 percent of companies have actually invested in SMM tools.

This is a daunting statistic, especially considering that more and more customers today are digital-first, and when they want to connect with a brand they do so on social channels.
